Ze Clio...
So, with us having decent weather recently i decided to book today off work and machine polish the RS.
Sadly no before or during shot's... Once i've started working at it i tend to forget and focus on what i'm doing lol.
Method...
Good rinse
2BM wash with Chemical Guy's Glossworkz
Good rinse
CYC Ultra Fine Poly Clay with Dodo Juice Born Slippy
Door shut's etc washed with APC (will get some FK1000P on them this week)
2BM wash with Chemical Guy's Glossworkz
Good Rinse
Dry with CYC Blue Towel
Kestral DAS6 - I played with Menzerna Power Finish, Menzerna Final Finish and Poorboys SSR2.5... Completely forgot about Lime Prime sadly.
Hand Polished then with Auto Glym Super Resin Polish
Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite
Chemical Guy's Wet Mirror Finish
Chemical Guy's EZ Glaze
2 Layer's Dodo Juice Supernatural
Plastic's done with Chemical Guy's New Look Trim Gel
Window's still have plenty of life left with the Carlack 68 kit so i just wiped over them with Auto Glym Rapid Detailer.
Wheel's need to be taken off soon to be cleaned thoroughly and also for arches to be done. Engine bay will be done at the same time

Cheers dude. I agree, the 172's look a lot more subtle and less (dare i say it) chavvy I was also looking at Ph1's but it was hard finding a good one with decent mileage at a price which fitted in regard's the cambelt.

Lol, i never expected you to be a fan James. I wasn't machining it any longer than i had been as my back was killing. Plus a few mark's wouldn't come out completely so decided to try and take advantage of what filler's SRP has. Plus i don't think it's as bad as some folk's say tbh.
Easy to work with and does give good result's imo Ofcourse it is my opinion

But Chip the glaze you used contains fillers for that very reason....was no need to go over with another polish.

True dude... But as i say i'd played around with the machine, first with Final Finish - wasn't happy with the correction so moved to Power Finish. Still wasn't happy so tried SSR2.5 as i've never used it by machine. It was starting to look better but with my bad back i wasn't feeling refining the finish with the machine and Final Finish again, so opted for the easy route of SRP.
Must say though, i really like it. For a get out plan it's really good lol. Paintwork looked lovely with it applied.
I'd never used a glaze before... I'm not entirely sure what to make of it. Gave some extra depth but it's not as awe-amazing as some folk's have said to me. I think the WMF add's almost as much depth as you're going to get after the machine polish personally. God i love that stuff lol.

Am i wrong in thinking the Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite would of stripped the polish you just applied previously to the lime prime lite? Or is it alot milder than the normal Lime Prime, so wouldn't of affected it?
Would of thought the lime prime lite would of been better used just after the claying? But i'm a noob so not 100% sure
But anyway looks amazing, it's came up really well although doesn't gleam as much as your Saxo did
