Default couple of noob detailing questions

hi,

got a couple of issues and after some advice.

1) what's the best thing to use to clean round the rear badges, can get most of the muck off, but its the stuff that gets under the edge of the badging i'm having problems with.

2) after washing down and drying i have a problem whereby the sections under the lights seem to store, then leak water, over the bumpers, so i end up having to give them another going over.

tried getting the drying towel under the edge of the lights but they still seem to retain a bit of water.

cheers........

1) just want to get your self a small detailing brush to get around the bagdes

2) you can't help them doing that because it's where the water gutter is from the roof, if you had a air compressor you could blow the water out of the nooks and crannies
