Swirls
Well guys i got my vtr and lets just say the paint is fucked
Ill get some snaps tomorrow
I know i need to get this machined polished and treated but for the time being i dont want to make them any worse
Times are hard atm and cant afford to get it properly done - and also cant afford all the products
Im going to just continue using my current method which is:
Rinse off
Spray with shampoo
Wash with mit and 2BM
Rinse
Microfibre towel dry
Now if im right in thinking this should be the quickest and cheapest way of keeping my car clean and not making the paint any worse
In time ill get some decent products and get it done properly but for now will this be ok?
Also i dont want to tackle this myself as ive never polished or waxed before
Cheers
Chris

Yeah it should be fine mate, ideally you want the paint corrected as you said.
I'm gunna guess it's a dark colour, absolute nightmare

One of the most important step your missing is the pre-wash (snowfoam) that will minimise swirl drastically.

He said money is an issue. Decent pressure washer price? Lance attachment?

Hmmmmm prevent it getting worse with a pressure washer and basic foam lance.
Buy the nilfisk alto c110 from argos or amazon for like £50, it comes with a cheap and cheerful foam lance.........
£50 well spent imo.

The Nilfisk washer is excellent value for money, another alternative is a hose end attachment from CYC , iirc they are about £8-9 attaches to the end of your hose and acts like a foaming lance, just with less pressure, on the plus side it will be very effective as a pre-wash before your 2bm etc..

I got a prssure washer with a shitty lance and ive been using my shampoo in it at the moment
Does snow foam make that much of a difference?
