Reverse gear!
Hey guys. Quite new here. So here's the problem.
Iv got a mango westcoast. New clutch and gearbox just fitted by previous owner.
The car drives fine in every gear and when pulling away etc. But when I put it in reverse the car shudders quite violently (almost like when you nearly stall) only this happens even if the revs are up. Makes the exhaust and pretty much everything else shake. It's not very nice at all. Can only really reverse if I dab the clutch and on pretty much flat ground. Starting to annoy me a bit after putting up with it for a few months lol.
Any ideas what this could be? Mounts or linkage etc? Help would be much appreciated. Cheers. Sam
