sprayed boot
okay so some of you know i sprayed my own boot with spray cans and its slightly darker than the rest of the car not sure if this is because the rest of the car has faded but is there anything i can do/use to help with the colour difference?

Get paint mixed to the correct shade and not an off the shelf shade.

might be cause you used the wrong primer, could try polishing it with a machine polisher (the rest of car)

okay well i used the primer is said to use. it wasnt done ages ago so might be wearing in still i guess

3m g4 cutting compound is good stuff mate they use it when resprayed cars

Alot of the time the slightly different colour is because it wasnt blended in.

i work in a body shop pal its because youve used spary cans mate, if ya going to polish it youse fast cut , you could try blening it into the next panel to try and take your eye of it and polish it back,but be careful were you mask and dont hardline it be harder to polish back..good luck mate
