Default What Products To Use

Hi.

I've got a friend who has a Yellow Seat Ibiza and she is currently looking for a valeting service to clean it for her which will cost a fortune.

So im trying to find some good cleaning products to make up a small lost of things she needs so she can save some money and hopefully do a better jobs.

Any recommended products ? What would be the best Dodo Juice to use?

Thanks

It would probably be easier to pay someone in all honesty.

But once the paint is all corrected they could maintain it hat fairly easily.

For a basic wash & wax if you had no equipment you would need like

washmitt - £10
drying towel £10
plastic protection / tyres (combined to save money) - £10
wax £15+
microfibres - £5
shampoo - £10

thats without stuff like glaze / sealant or even a claybar & assuming you have stuff like a pressure washer, buckets and all that crap already.

www.cleanyourcar.co.uk

only really lists decent products and having a large choice is part of the fun of it, have a look on here at past threads because the choice is endless and everyone has different opinions on products

to the post above

why would you wax a car when you don't plan on polishing it?

polish creates the shine, wax enhances it / adds a layer of protection. but no point 'protecting' paint that isn't in good condition...

Yeah, I understand what you're saying, but I would potentially wax it to protect the paint from getting any worse?

I guess the person in question isn't going to buy a machine polisher to correct the paint seeing as they were talking about saving money & that wouldn't be cheap

If you're new to the game..

go to halfrauds and get 3 for 2 or something... no point spending to much. unless you're going to get into it properly.

Valeters arnt too expensive.. i do a mini valet for £25.
