Default Trims!

Just thought I'd say, I kept reading on here about blackening the trims on saxos and read comments that said about using auto glym etc.. I tried auto glym but it seemed to fade quite quickly but I guess it depends on the age of the trims to how effective it is.

Was reading and saw someone said about boiled Linseed Oil and found some in my dads shed, decided to give it a go, here's the before and afters:

During side:

After! (bumper):

Done a pretty good job, will have to see how it weathers!

thats looking quite well. good tip with the oil there.

if it weathers quicker than you would have hoped for you could sand-prime-spray them. do a good job and it will last far longer

You'll find with oil that dust tends to stick to it, that's what happened to me anyway.

Yeah it was on mine lol, went over it with a cloth after it'd dried and after a while most of the stickyness went.
