Silver 2002 Saxo VTR (Converted to VTS) *PHOTO HEAVY*
So, where do I start?
I thought I'd make a new thread seeing as a hell of a lot has happened with my Saxo recently!
As some of you may know, I bought this off a guy from here called Frankay for £2,000 (If I remember correctly) It had around 55,000 miles *Chassis around 93,000*
A few months after having it I wrote it off... My fault entirely, I was messing around with my stereo and ended up hitting another car and a curb at around 40 mph! I had my heart and soul set around fixing it, so I sent it off to the body shop to investigate the damage.
All the front chassis had been bent badly, it needed new wings, bumper, bonnet, alloys, wishbones, driveshafts, struts, lights and a few other bits and bobs! Most importantly it needed to be put on a giant jig to bend the chassis back into the correct place!
Anyway... to cut a long story short, I had all the work done and it cost me around £2,000! (That's including a front end respray)
Anyway, here's some photo's of how she stands at present.
Uploaded with ImageShack.us

So, there she is! I'll go on to list the current modifications and then my future ones!
So currently:
VTS conversion 55k miles.
Brembo callipers from 406 Coupe + 288mm disks
Goodridge braided brake hoses all round
Maxtorq Group N disks all round
Mintex 1144 pads all round
Black VTS alloys
SaxSport 2'' exhaust system
4/2/1 Manifold (Heat wrapped)
Uprated gear-linkages
Simota carbon induction kit
Polished rocker covers
Upper strut brace
106 GTI leather/swede interior
Powerflex bushes all round
IM rear Axle (Lowered -50mm)
Bilstein B8 front and rear dampers - fast road/track suspension
Eibach -45mm front lowering springs
2 x Yokohomo S drives on rear
2 x Parda Spec 2's on the front
Smoked headlights
Smoked fog lights
Smoked rear lights
Dimma grille
My future plans,
Cams, Remap.
Gloss black bumpstrips
Red silicone hoses (Bay)
Red Rallye carpet
Lower a little more
Carbon mirror caps
Carbon pillars
Carbon coil pack cover
And that's all really, the engine bay is pretty tidy! Spend a lot of work on it... I'll get some photo's up over the weekend.
Thanks for reading, let me know what you think!

Okay so I'm looking into purchasing some leather buckets for the front, any idea on which ones I should go for?

Really nice that mate! How does the suspension feel on the road? I have a fairly similar setup, minus the bushes. I have them ready to go on when i drop the 16v engine in.

Thanks guys!
The GTI front leathers are going to be included in the swap of the buckets I'm afraid dude!
The suspension feels okay, it's a bit bumpy here and there, but it's generally a nice ride. Except when you hit those massive pot holes!!
Running good at the moment Frankay, need to get a new ICV, but apart from that all is good!

Cheers man
I'm keeping the rear bench Frankay, just putting some leather buckets in the front to match as the fronts are a little worn for my liking! I'm not going for track, more fast road!

Yeah it was a very sad time! It was broken into while in the yard waiting to be fixed, it had graffiti drawn over it in marker! Looked a state!
Really happy with it at the moment though, as I said... I'm not finished with it yet though

Well tbh they're still in very good condition for their age, but the tiny bobbles annoy me! Plus a bit of stitching has started to come loose! :o
