Default Possible clutch noise

Hi all, I have a horrid thud noise when I release the clutch on my VTS which only occurs at low speed/rpm. If I am very smooth with the clutch everything is fine. I was told by a mechanic it was the Bottom engine mount but I have changed that and the problem remains - I've also just put new drive shafts on and checked the bottom arm bushes. Any ideas would be most welcomed.

Yeah it's what I've been thinking, I've had car on handbrake and dipped clutch in 1st and the engine does move a fair bit but it's damn near impossible to tell where the noise is coming from?

Worn driveshafts will also contribute, they get a lot of play in them and when you take up the drive they snatch.
I have same issue
