Default westcoast to vtr

basically ive been given a saxo westcoast silver but the gearbox has gone soo i just wna swap it to a vtr engine just as a project but i want to tune the vtr engine up abit dno what though deff goung to get a 421 mani but not sure what else can be done to push up the power/throttle response etc a little bit but also are the brakes on the westcoast/vtr/vts all the same? except vtr and vts have rear disc setup obviously and how easier is it to convert rear to dics and am i right in thinking all i need is engine, gearbox, ecu and loom for the engine a running side of things? sorry guys i know this has probably been convered over 1000times i must just be putting in the wrong thing in the search thanks

As far as i know you will need a whole new axle to swap to disks on the rear and it will have to be a either abs or non abs depending on what your cars got (guesing non abs as its a westcoast?). Also why not go for the vts conversion if your swapping the engine? Its no more involved?

your right all you need is ecu engine gearbox loom but you will have to unlock the ecu to change the rear brakes i reckon the cheapest solution would be to rip the brakes etc of a scrapped vtr and do a swap shouldnt be a massive job the vts have abs the vtr's dont
