Default My Amazinly Clean 106 1.1

Hey there, I have been a member on here for quite a while. I have had a few 106's and saxo's but this is the cleanest.

The body work its in near perfect condition with a few light scratches which i scratch-x and gone. The underside of the car has no rust at all. I was pretty suprised tbh. The sills are perfect and no rust holes under the ECU. Im on for a winner.

Only thing it needs are 2 Drive shafts and 2x wish bones and we are good to go.

Here is how she stands

I know its a 106 but i prefer this site

Car cost me £575 and has 121,000 on the clock 'wont be keepin the 1.1 for long'

Plans...
Full 106 GTI running gear
Might make it like a Rallye
Not sure yet.

Ideas ????

New update guys, Me n my friend swapped the engine becuase it was on 121K and blowing blue smoke n not turning on some times.

61K 1.1 Lump for £100
starter Motor £20
2x Drive shafts £50
Cambelt £12.50
Oil £17.50
Oil filter £4.99
Sparks £6.25
Clutch Relese Breaing £20

For 231.25 A serviced engine and running Sweet as.

As for putting the engne in, it was piece of piss, but as for bleeding the cooling system.. Another storie :@

When i this car it had 2 bottles of G12 Cooling fluid

Now one was open and one was closed, so i went to the open one and it smelt like oil.. but i thought hey and tipped 1L into my radiator tank... bleading it and WTF overheat and creamy liquid... :@ i thought the headgasket was gone.

So i did the water system agine x5 untill no cream was in the water system.. Luckly it was oil in the G12 Bottle as i opend the new one and it was a pink liquid. :@:@:@
I was pissed off. My fault but still pissed.

As for that i took all the coolent pipes off and radiator and flushed them out with water and put all back togeter, bled and wahoo, my heaters working and now no overheat

What a day!

Should have taken the plunge then and bought a 16v for it IMO! save you buying 2 engines etc!
