Default kam exhaust system with sports cat

would this combination of the kam exhaust system and the janspeed 4-2-1 sports cat sound raspy and loud? it will be on a mk2 1.4 8v

Without a decat I'd say not as loud as you are hoping for
Sports cat is meant to be less restrictive but not as derestricted as a decat
Just man up and decat, then put it all back on for MOT

I think the janspeed sport cat mani is straight fit to a mk2 as its advertised for a mk2 on Kamracing. Could be wrong.

Wont be as loud or raspy as decat, but will be easy come MOT time.

The Janspeed is a straight through design so it will not restrict much in the way of sound. Maybe a little bit

I found my vts was raspy/poppin wit decat and now a nice sports roar wit cat bak on which I prefer! Shame it's not quite so lively/easy through the revs with cat!
