Default fan switch

I had a fan switch in my old xr2i.

I bridged the wires leading to the fan and hooked them up to a switch on the dash so I could run the fan when I wanted (i.e in traffic) The fan still worked as usual when it needed to.

Is it a case of doing the same thing on a vts or is it a different set up?

ta.

oh and where i put the switch... ya can put it anywhere obvs but easiest and i think best place is to use the ashtray thing above the immobilser code entry thingy. It pulls all the way out. drill hole thru front, then wire it up and put switch in the hole, wire it up, put ashtray back in. All hidden and switch is nice and tidy... I searched for this wen i was doin it and not one sod could help me...

im doing this. as engine temp is a problem for me and im using an oil cooler...

vts radiator i think will be fitted then a twin fan setup one fan on one switch, and one fan on the normal circuit just in case i forget to put it on when its hot.

should come as standard on saxos tbh as they all run in the top half of the temp gauge...

With the twin fan mine runs only at 1/3rd of the dial. In between cold and the middle. The air at speed must make both fans move and provide extra cooling. Twin fans should be standard on both vtr and vts.
