Yellow fuel injection light on dash

Hello All for the first time.

I wonder if someone can help me?

I have a Saxo 1.1 Desire 2003 which has all of a sudden developed a misfire on the engine. It runs badley, hardly idleing and will not rev properly as if a lead has come off. I checked everything is as it should be. However the yellow fuel injection light on the far right of the dash board has come up. But not being to knowledgeable with fuel injection I am at a loose end.

My previous 2000 1.1 Saxo was good as gold and never gave me any trouble until the engine blew at 180000. It was a commuters dream and was pucker little run around.
