Default passenger front wheel

over the last day or two i have noticed a knocking sound from the front passenger wheel. its something to do with the wheel or break because as i speed up the knocking gets faster and vice versa, and when i press my brake pedal the knocking goes away...going to have a look tomorrow but dont really know where to start.

any suggestions or anythin would be great...anyone had this happen to them before??

cheers

inner joint on the drive shaft? just a suggestion. my mate gti driveshaft was fucked on the inner joint and it made noise when he accelerated. in the haynes manual it said 'vibration when accelerating or decelerating was worn inner cv joint, or bent or distorted driveshaft'
