Used to like Nova GTE's, but never liked Corsas.
Apparently the 16vs are ok, but theyre never going to set a road or track alight.

Nice mate, Very capable engines and nice handling cars if they're set up right. If you've got a spare 10 grand lieing around, Send your engine to John reid and he'll get 250bhp+ out of it.
I doubt many of the haters on here will like it mind.

Oh and for Corsa info and general banter, sign up to corsasport.co.uk.
Awesome site, probably more active than here with not so much X vs Y threads or what car next shite.

I used to have a n/a 250bhp 2.1 16v corsa b a few yrs back, it was a rocket!
I attended a corsa - saxo thing at Brunters that redline mag organised and beat everyone lol.
With your 1.6 16v get a set of TB's on there as the std inlet set up is very restrictive.

didn't adam (ak) have similar car or is it the same one?
As for performance c20let is best value for money but some people swear by small block handling so its up to you what route to take.

leda don't exist anymore, apparently most of their staff work for gaz now
I prefer the handling on Novas compared to corsa Bs tbh, even though they're almost identical underneath
easier to get a good corsa b these days though and can do things to them that aren't as easy on novas, like fitting a f28 or whiteline rarb

They did 10-11 years ago when i had the Corsa though.
The Nova is alot lighter but narrower so easier to get up onto 2 wheels with sticky tyres fitted.
Vid clips from Brunters inc a yummy 1.6 16v screamer Corsa in part 2.

Don't get the hate between Saxo owners and Corsa owners tbh
