Respray
Does anyone have a rough price for a respray of a MK2 saxo, got quite a few little dents here and there.. Not sure what they are from, only really noticeable in the light after a good clean.. Would like it nice and smooth. Just wanna get some figures for a budget. Not sure what colour I'd go though.

how longs a piece of string is pretty much the exact same question
prices of resprays vary so much due to alot of factors, for example:
what colour the car is and what colour its going,
any damage, ie. dents/rust/accident damage to repair,
any body mods to be carried out,
whether its just the outside being done, or the door shuts too or the insides or the whole shell,
how much of the car you want stripping down ie. windows out, doors off or not,
prices vary alot depending on place in the country,
prices vary from small bodyshops to large insurance approved bodyshops,
what colour/type of paint it is going ie metallic/solid/pearl etc
only way you will get proper ideas of prices is by going and visiting local bodyshops, tell them exactly what you want doing and they will tell you the price

I get what you're saying, its a fair point. But there must be a few peoples around with resprays and costings.

there will be but their cars will match what i have said above, some with different amounts of damage, some having mods, some having just outside done and others the whole shell, some same colour jobs others colour changes
where i work resprays start at £1200

had most of the saxo re-sprayed, dent in panel fixed and cost me the price f paint and my time. my dad sprayed it - so can claim proff respray did help out on prep + stripping. but u can get 'flash' overs for like £400+ but tbf not really worth the money. also goes on what paint you want the car painting in too.

rough price if you want inside outside and engine bay with underside done and stone chip protected you going to be looking around £3000 for a decent job. if you want just a quick rub down and spray over with no major prep you be looking at about £1200 but you will be regretting it. the more money you can spend the better the result. i have seen cars done just by masking up all windows etc and light rub down and then paint that after a week look awful as prep is the key. i am having my evo done soon and even though i have stripped it right down to a bare shell and there is only a little prep to do as shell has been completely acid dipped then e coated which is a dipped paint finish that covers everything i got loads of quotes and the cheapest was £4000 for the finish i want. which is satin black
