Default drum to disc axle

going to replace my rear axle for added stopping power as vts lump will be going in after winter. also current axle is abit squeaky.

easy swap but my only question is, do i need to do anything with the brake lines or do i simply connect to calipers and bleed the system?

thanks

I'm pretty sure that as long as the axle you put on comes with the brake lines that go to rear calipers everything should fit fine, you will need to change handbrake cables though as disc axles require longer cables

go to Citroen for the cable? needs tightened any way.

in case i don't get the brake lines with the back axle what should i do?

would fitting braided hoses be the answer or do they need customized?

thanks for your reply

The disc axle will go straight on, remove the compensator valve off it and your pipes will go straight onto it too.

You need new handbrake cables, can get it from any supply place they rnt expensive.
