Default Interior light door switch?!

I removed my interior light switch on the inside of the door a while ago, can't remember why but all I know is that the wire dropped back down inside that was holding it on, I've tried everything to try and get the wire back so that I can plug it in again but with no luck!

Can anyone suggest any possible ways I could try?

Here's a pic of what I'm talking about...

try fishing it out with a bent wire coathanger, failing that remove inner trim and get at it that way.
