Default what else can go wrong

I'm begining to loose the love for ma wee vtr it has takin a fair beating from the weather the past week of so. Traveling down the a9 to glasgow from ness 2mondays ago when the snow was bad roads not been gritted at this point(3am) when I driving hitting ice holders in the road and I can't swerve around them as if I leave the tyre tracks ill loose the back end so manage to get to Glasgow and find ma 150 pound splitter is smashed to bits. So in Glasgow finished the coarse I was doing leaving Wednesday 2mins of driving I go through a masice pothole bottoms out the car I check it and see I now have a puncture and i dnt have a spair wheel (my fault i no) so i ring around to get a tyre a 195 45 15 the wheels are a set of black Zara vts wheels and aparently no where in Glasgow has them in stock.(bull shit) so had to spend another dayin Glasgow then get a taxi to where my car was left then pay 60 pound for a budget tyre was to bothered bout the tyre as had a set of saxo vts wheels ordered with good tyres but ill get to that so i pay the tyre get it on and im on my way get to perth and as im going round perth roundabout ma bloody rear window shatters into loads of tiny pieces because i have the mark 1 spoiler molded to the mark 2 spoiler and as u no the smallark 2 spoiler bolts through the glass so because the wind was so strong on last thur it pushed it dwn so much it shattered the back window so now i have to drive 108 miles with a shatered rear window oh and for good measure ma sunstrip got clean riped of with the wind so i get home get charged 140 pound for a rear window the next day and by this point im pissed of but get excited when the postie comes with ma wheels so i geton three of the wheel then I get to the rear right side and notice only 2 of the bolts will screw up so I have a closer look and notice the threads in the hub are stripped and nw IV just had enough not even bothered to look into it so nw it sits on my drive.

MA question is it worth modding a car when its just gona get wrecked or is it just bad luck and has ang1 else had this amount of bad luck with there saxo im considerind a standerd map car can u please tell me to stick with it as I do love ma wee vtr thanks

I nearly died reading that.

Please learn to use the correct English punctuation as it makes it a lot easier to read, you will find 99% of saxp won't read this for the lack of it.

Saxo's are temperamental mate, in fact French cars in general are. Sounds like you have had a lot of bad luck but to be honest it seems that only one of the issues is down to the car itself, the rest are just natural factors and the local authority not doing their job.

Having not driven a VTR I can't really comment however I would miss my VTS for the fun factor should I sell it.

Ye sorry for the punctuation. I wrote this on my phone and it took about half an hour so didn't read over what I wrote.

That's just bad luck mate, however nice your new wheels may be is it really worth putting them through the winter weather? If it was mine I would carry on with it. Grab a hub from the scrappy and a new bearing. Get some steelies for winter driving so if they get damaged its not a problem. And get a spare wheel too!

sun visor could fall off causing temporary blindness, resulting in car careering into a primary school bus stop causing death and mayhem on an un-precedented scale? See, it can get worse, much much worse. Even worse, you could have to share a long sea voyage with the grammar nazis on here who will soon be on your case!

Mate things can get much worse, in the space of about 3 months I written my car of twice, but I still fixed my saxo and I don't want to blow my own trumpet but I think I did as good job of it!
Stick with your vtr mate, you may keep putting new parts on your car but if you sell it and buy another car you start again and may have the same trouble with that!
