Full Service suggestions please ??
Car is on 100,000 recently owned i have no service history at all but their is a Spanner next to the mileage odomoter, also the time is wrong how can i change this lol ?????
Can people give me a list of checks / jobs to do please. I've invested in my insurance policy the car on the whole seems tidy and engine seems sweet i want to look after it. Imp things like camblet...any visual indicators as to see if it looks like it's been recently changed....surface ? or how far it twists etc ? Want to give it a full service

Search will show you how to set the time get rid of the spanner!
If in doubt with the cam belt - get it changed!
Full service would be oil + filters
Air filter
Spark plugs
Check of brakes - pads & discs
Change of brake fluid
Change of power steering fluid
And a good check over of whats left!

If there is no record of the cam belt being done then you have to assume it hasn't been.
As above with the service parts

Just added Ht leads onto there, always worth doing while you're messing with plugs.

No they're not mate.
Different code's on the MAP sensor's.
Not too sure on the ICV, but read yesterday that someone said they are different for each model.
However i have a VTR ICV on my 16v. And that works, but still got abit of a dodgy idle.

Most don't have HT leads, as the coil pack plugs straight in! A '99 R won't!

I was wondering how many saxo's had HT leads lol
I have owned three and a 106 and all been coilpack, I did prefer the HT and dizzy cap days in my old Nova though
