Torsion Bars
I live in manchester and have everything done and lose to lower my torsion bars.
Just need someone to take them out for me.
Does anyone know where i can get it done locally ???

as your winding it soak it in wd-40 i heard coke works too form sumhere and get a mate to tap the arm with a hammer, ohh yeah and make sure u get all the screws out and washers before tryinbg, my mate rang me sayin this guide u gave me is shit, so i went to his house and he'd lef the washers in each end the tit lol, good luck if you have another go, if not theres a good place called abp motorsprt in nantwich, dont know how far it is from you but they are good there

be careful when winding in the bolt, very easy to get a bit carried away and snap the bolt inside the bar. try removing the washers from both ends of each bar and whacking them through from behind rather than pulling them out, might find this method easier of you drop the rear axle. failing that then it's time to whip out the blowtorch and heat the area around each of the bars. failing that, then you can pay some poor bastard to do it for you.

Send a pm to b0t13, he's from manchester, he had his lowered by some guy who specializes in lowering saxos and 106's. Hes located somewhere around Manchester airport.

Well i have foud another guide which is the best one yet
You are serpose to undo the screw at the back of both torsion bars before trying to pull out.
so i will be trying this at the weekend and fingers crossed show come out.

the badgersprt guide is good until u get to the passenger side and find that the arch get in the way and the slide hammer is a pain in the arse to get the bar out that way, socket and spacer is easy
