5D MK III - Focus imaging
did anyone go Focus last week?
i really wanted to go, but couldnt get time off work! i have a mate who works for Canon who said he will try and get his hands on a MK III for me so i can use it for a few days! but i wont see him for a few more weeks yet!
did anyone else go?
anyone get their hands on one to play with ( i assume it was there? )
also
who shoots with a MK II ?

Saw a few video blogs.
from my limited knowledge, the MKIII looks much more up to date and ergonomical, much like the 7D, it looks to have a better feel to it all (ofc can't tell until actually feeling it lol)
either way, my budget won't be buying a full frame canon in the next century.

Didnt go as fuck going to brum.
Im off to calumet when one is in though to see if it will suit my needs short term now the 1DX has been delayed.
The main thing is the shit AF from the mkII has been massively reworked, and duel memory cards is much better for the working pro.
However the AF isnt a carbon copy on the DX as people think as it works by only detecting contrast and not contrast/colour and iirc even face recognition.

For those interested best price I can dig out so far for a body in the UK is £2600 + del. Tempted to give one a whirl.
