Mines noisy with just a cat in. Underneath. It was quiet with cat/silencer.

if i remember correctly they're both the same bore size so in reality theyre the same. but the supersprint was much lighter for me. so supersprint.

by the sounds of it youve just got catback. a straight through is just a pipe that goes from mani to backbox. you dont want a loud exhaust anyway, your not going any faster.
but if its what you want, just get a decat pipe. that'll please your ears.

The catalytic converter acts like a silencer and really quietens an exhaust system.

You could try removing any silencers if you have any on there? Also, a 4-1/4-2-1 will be of great help with the volume!
I've got a raceland manifold on mine, sports cat, straight pipe all the way to the back box, where i have a classic cooper box, which i swap over for the standard one when im having a sensible day. Its so loud its unreal. i'll get a video up for you if i can find one.
