Theres no 'one' product to get the best shine, simple as that. The best paintwork (shine) is achieved by a number of products on top of a good base.

Silver and other light colours are always harder to get good reflections and shine from compared to dark colours, but not impossible by any means. Your best bet is to get an All Purpose Cleaner to strip off any gunk thats been built up over the years by various fowk. Then use a Clay Bar on the car to lift any remaining grime stuck to the paint. Finish off by getting it Machine Polished. Then its just a case of changing your washing technique to minimise the chance of putting swirls back into your newly polished paint

Any wax on top of a good machine polish should protect it for a while against the crap on our roads. Even the best cared for cars should be getting stripped back to the bare paint using an APC and clayed once a year. You cant have good paintwork simply by waxing over the top of road grime/tree sap/bug etchings stuck to it. Its a long process but if you're after a better shine theres no other way to do it i reckon...

If you dont want to spend, just go down to halfrauds and buy anything meguiars.

Autoglym HD wax is good, but expensive.

dodo jucie is awesome mate but have to order on line.. im using maguires gold class canubra plus from halfords at the min and the shine is unreal , that nice wet look and makes paint feel smooth. my only tip with this is give car a good wash and polish first before waxing.

Best bet as said above is start from scratch. strip off all previous polish, clay and re apply.. Its all down to budget really and as silver is great at hiding defects it is difficult to get a decent shine from.

Can definitely recommend dodo juice but more basic polishes/waxes are good if you wash, clay properly...

I've done plenty of silver cars, and you will need to start from scratchfor best results, a good ph neutral shampoo and citrus degreaser plus tfr to take to paint. Get a good applicator with something like poor it's ssr1/2/3, machine polish easier but not impossible by hand. Do a good finish on that then wipe down panels to see what condition like. Use something like poorboys White diamond to not remove scratches as it won't do that but it's a show glaze with a filling agent to hide any left over swirls etc. Then buff off n wax with poorboys natty wax.

Pm me if you want the products or I offer machine polishing service!

a rush with expensive stuff or expensive stuff used wrong can look worse than just putting some time and effort in with cheap wipe on wipe off wax stuff, worth bearing in mind.
