just wondered how much having an insurance aproved alarm knocks of your insurance? as my dad had one fitted to his bike an they only knocked of £12.

im with elephant i rang about getin a cat1 clifford fited they said it will make no differance to your quote there still owrth it though

i it was just to find out the saving, but since it's nowt i might aswell buy a toad or clifford of ebay an fit it myself then.

im with quinn and they actually said, having an alarm or not does not affect your insurance

depends opn the alarm, but most laces will give a little discount for having a cat1 alarm fitted.

even if the discount isnt huge, having a decent alarm has got to be worthwhile for peace of mind.
