dont use dynamate mate use sound deadning pads can get them from most whole sale places such as macess they are thicker than dynamat and costs half the price and there is more of it in one pack! thats what we use at work and it works a treat!

Failing that mate flashing tape from B&Q will do the trick.

I've used it on my boot, filled the insides with expanding foam (horrible stuff) and used flashing tape over the holes under the plastic trim it does help.

I never recomend expanding foam for sound deadening its horrid stuff. If you fill your tailagte with it and have a bump the body shop wont replace the tailgate as they wont be able to get the wiring out of the tailgate. Use loft insulation for filling the tailgate and quarter panels.
