hey guys, getting a service on the ka, the guy doing the service said that the cam belt don't need changing untill 125000 miles. does anybody know if this is so? thought it would be around the 50k mark? thanks

id do it around 70-80k just to be safe or when you have the time

all fords are 100k or 10 years. what engine has the sprot ka got in it. could have sworn it is the later 8v engine ( i forget the name) as such have cam chain.

not sure bro, its the 1.6 8v 04 plate thats all i know.stevo has cleared it up for me tho thanks

Yh I were right mate it's a cam chain duratec 8v engine mate.
