how do you change i am having problems. PLEASE help

easy - undo the hex head bolt that holds the ram to the track control arms. Turn the steering wheel and the ram will then pull itself out of the connector to the TCAs. There'll be a yellow plastic thing that the gaiter is connected to, keep this. Pull the old gaiter off and fit the new one making sure have the yellow plastic in the end of said gaiter so it can align with the slot on the connector for the TCAs. Turn the wheel so the ram comes back out towards the TCA, with your yellow plastic piece lining up with and then put the bolt back

I want to replace this too, and I found my steering setup (2001 1.4) is different from described in Hynes but perhaps similar to described here.
Do you mean the marked bolt?
What torx size it is? D-40?
