ok so on a serious level - the subtitles completely distract from all the action going on in the background. Someone fucked up big time.

No it caught my attention because of the trolololol song, not because it's butlins, the go compare adverts are annoying but grab your attention because they want to save your money, it would be a good example Tom but not in this case.

The Go Compare adverts don't get your attention because they want to save you money, they grab your attention due to the way they get the message across.
