Default Car Broken into :/

basically my vtr keeps getting broken into. Now it was done by smashing a hole through the side of the lock and then using a screwdriver to open it. So i was wondering is thier anything i could use to cover up the hole that is now at the side of the lock. my first saxo had like thick rubber fitments around the locks and im sure they wer thier to combat this kind of break in
So if anyone know wer i can get something to cover the exsiting hole id be very greatful
thanks

Then they'll simply go in the window...

Alarm is usually enough to make them shit themselves and run away.

also, what's so appealing about breaking into your VTR? Do you drive like BWAAAARP with a loud stereo? (suggesting you have radio gear nicking) or do you think they are joyriders - in which case they'll be stumped by the immobiliser anyway...

Well I've got a cat1 Cobra alarm in my car, so it comes with an immobiliser

so my car has 2 immobilisers, to start you need the original key and the cobra fob

So it should be easy to install one to your setup.

Over time it will pay itself, I'm sure.

Sounds to me like it's somebody that knows you or knows who you are.
