Steelies Paint
IM planning on Recolouring my steelies soon... i have some spraypaint already, its the arty type, would this be good enough to put on my steelies or should i get some proper car paint from halfords?

What do you mean by 'arty' paint man? I've known people to get away with using Halfrauds paint as long as the prep work is up to scratch

Ahh right I see now mate - I can't see any reason why it wouldn't be... pretty sure one of my mates used graffiti paint on his wheels actually and they were alright. Again, it's all in the prep - I knew someone that didn't sand down the alloys enough and forever retouching and sorting the alloys out.

Noo its no use. You need some with a uv resistance in it. Also you will need to prime them up correctly if you plan on them lasting.
If you need to use the paint you have then you will need to give it a couple of coats of clear coat with the uv in it or they will fade.
