Back light bother.

So I just received these lights off a friend to stick on my car:



the connector which I have on my current lights just doesn't seem to want to come off, and they look like this:


but the new one looks like this:


will I be able to fit these in my car? and how do I do it?

Unplug it off the old light use a screw driver to push down on the metal Clip to try and remove it then by the looks of it it should plug straight in or if ur carefully u can remove the Clip to get it off then reconnect the clip after u have swapped it

You push the metal clip down with a screw driver or something and give a good pull they should come off.

I just pulled out the pink piece, screwdriver between pink plug and brown casing
