MOT in 8 hrs help!!!
i hav got gti interior in my car but the air bag light is still on!
i hav male and female connected the seats to the car but they hav stayed on!
will my car fail my mot? if yes u reckon if i told the person (who is a family friend who may let me off  ) jsut sort it out?
or am i being stupid and worrying bout nothing!

flashing airbag light is a fail i believe. Mike has same problem i recon you need to use the saxo canisters and not the gti ones. cant think of any other reason y.
Although i have heard of some garages letting it slip

itdont flash it jsut stays on orange even when i'm drivin indicating a fault and i know its my seats that caused this. i'm thinking i'll jsut pull the bulb out lol or tell him wot the prob is and say can u let it slip, as my dad does his mum favours etc

yes it should be a definete fail if the garage does their job properly.
Just remove the light bulb.. for the time being before you fix it properly

If the light flashes, then there's a problem with the connections. If the light stays on, then there's a problem with the actual (operation of the) airbag itself which could/should lead to an MOT fail.
If you can remove the bulb, I'd do that to get the car through the MOT and then have it looked at after. Whatever you do, don't remove the bulb and then forget to put it back in...
