Default Serious crazy idle

Hi there my car bat died after leavin the lights on, now when a startedthe car it had a crazy idle, so my first point of call was reset the idv with the keyof and on technique, then a large drive and never worked, then tried the same but with cleaning the idv first which also never worked, then tried leaving the bat unpluged for a nyt and took it a long drive again same as the last 2 times, still to no avail, it wouldnd really bother me but when sitting at traffic lights and the idle is sitting between 3000 and 4000 is nota good image, it also like to rev itsself too at the same time, any1 got any ideas? its a saxo VTR 52plate if that helps
