Default Sub & amp help please

I need some advice on how to wire my sub and amp.

Firstly, I currently have 2 x 1200 subs (i think) with an amp to power it of which the size of that I am unsure.

I also have a smaller sub which is only a single 1200 watt again, with an amp (significantly smaller) to go with that too.

So, would I be better off with the smaller sub and both amps (if that's even possible? For better sound) the smaller sub and the bigger amp? The big sub and big amp? I don't like a massive amount of bass so it's turned down somewhat anyway, mainly for a bit of 'burrrr' but also improved sound.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Ur better off with the small sub and small amp then really. Give that a go n if its not good enough put the bigger amp on the small sub but turn it down to half way or so, so u don't blow the sub. That's what I'd do anyway

No, I don't want to put all 3 in, I'm saying I have two subs, and asking which I should use considering I don't want to drown the sound with booming.

Is it safe to use a bigger amp on a smaller sub?

Get some figures up or pictures of the items and ill help you as best i can. They won't be 1200 watts rms, theyll be max 1200 which is what they can push all together.

The bigger the amp the better the sound is not always the case either.

Its hard to know what to pair with what without seeing what you have to be honest chap!

You'll probably be better off with the small sub and the small amp but without seeing i can't be sure. Small subs are good for clarity in my opinion, is the small one a 10 or an 8?

Dont listen to this utter pish.

Post actual details of what you have. Currently the details that you have given make it impossible to advise anything at all. Model numbers preferably.

Obviously never heard a decent system. 6x9's aren't worth it and never look decent.

Components out front and a decent sub out back all amped is a perfect setup imo

Bullet point every thing you have, amps, subs, etc. In a nice, easy to read list.
Then say what you want from your car sound-wise or looks-wise.
