Default re-fitting dash

as the title sais im finding it a bastard to re fit the dash. basically theres a bar that goes ffrom steering column down to the side ov the footwell where the dash screws in throught the carpet, cant get round fiiting the bar back in the steering column aswell as lining the dash up, is there any easy way to do this as im getting frustrated now lol. can i jist remove the bar (is it jus there for safety) or does iitt give the dash more support?? help

You need to have the bar that gives support to the dash. You can fit it before on the dash and after you fit all on the car.
