Default MK1 Airbagged seats?
Quick question.... I want to fit 106 GTI leathers but want to avoid having the airbag light problem.. so looking at getting some airbagged 106 leathers.

However I have a MK2 crossover and therefore I have MK1 interior, does the MK1 interior even have airbagged seats?

Its usually the seat belt tensioners that cause the airbag light to be on!

Mk1 didn't have bags in the seat IIRC it was only 2001 that the S had it!

Your spot on, sorry i've been getting confused! The reason I was asking as I wanted some GTI leathers but I didn't want the airbag light on, so was looking for an airbagged set....

But ether way i'm going to have the problem as, as you have said its the tensioners! Anyway round the airbag light?
