Default power steering

I have bought a saxo vts its been modded into a track car and has no power steering .would it of been disconected or took off.how do I get power steering again

You need to check to see what has been done to the existing set up!

Get under the bonnet and have a look, compare to one with working PAS!

Or ask the previous owner to see what they did!

If you open the bonnet facing the car the PAS pump if still fitted is in the bottom right hand corner, it's electric, there are 2 pipes which go over the gearbox to the rack.

If the blowers and heated rear screen don't work either then the fuse may have been taken out - 25amp

I had a look today while I put front original shocks back on car and noticed thr power steering pump was still on the car .how do I connect it back up for it to work again is there some pipes I need to look for

You should have something like this 2 pipes off the unit which go under the air filter & connect to the rack at the side of the servo unit.

Cheers for the photos will have a look tommorow after work.I did notice today that I still have power steering fluid in resovoir when plugging back in headlight wire next to ecu had no o/s main beam.had heavy vibration and knocking noise when last drove car so put in first gear and pushed car back and forth noticed engine moved excesively on passenger side, snapped bracket mount so I assume still having fluid would still have pipes.I still have my warm heaters working too so will check 25 amp fuse
