Default Ph1 VTS ECU Question

Hey all, just a quick question. Does the Ph1 VTS have a immobiliser? If so would i need to use the barrel? Thanks.

yes it has an immobiliser.

ignition barrel has nothing to do with the immobiliser, only the aerial around it and the chip in the key.

Its got a TOAD alarm. do you think that the immobliliser has been "deleted" for this to be installed? All this is an after thought. Stripped all the loom and engine and totally forgot about the immo. Haha

They all have an immobiliser. If it's a very early one they had a keypad immo. The ECU number on those is usually 16225104.
