Default VTS Loom Removal

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can give any pointers on removing the engine loom ?

I have it all disconnected from the starter motor to the ECU / Alternator and pulled through.

The part that goes from mulitplug seems to go under the Gearbox Mount, is this going to need the Engine Lifted out to accomplish ?

Many thanks in advance.

No it just goes under the battery tray from memory. If it does go under then there will be enough room for the plug.

Cheers Mate, After battling with it the multiplug got wedged above the gearbox, I have just cut the multiplug off as waiting for replacement loom to arrive.

Engine bay re assembled and car is ready to go to a bigger garage so I can attempt to remove the engine to make it easier to fit the new loom, the gearbox started grinding before the loom set on fire so I have ordered a recon box so will do both jobs in one go .... hopefully.

You could have simply undone the on nut and lowered it down

Or pulled the loom down a bit so the plug goes around the side of the gearbox.

Some times you just got to do what you have to do lol

Was no use to me as it had burnt away at the back of the engine and wrecked the loom.
