tbh i'd only advise getting a back box, as a full system will not offer a great deal more power to your car, it may feel like it makes it loads quicker, but its more physcological than anything! imo you should just get a back box and save your money, that way you get a lovely sound, then if you want it louder, get yourself an open induction kit £40-£99 (depending on which one you get) and that will make it sound aggressive.

Agree with S34MER! No point wasting needless cash. Also keep it subtle,
1.1s can look dead nice if done tastfully...

Oooh, Beat me to it :-)
Id agree, if your just looking for a nice Tail pipe a a nice note I will Always recommend Peco, Massive fittment list and Huge Tailpipe options.
But if your looking for something abit more in your face or more custom then have a chat with a custom exhaust shop.
Put Peco into a Google search, most places sell em, but hunt around to find the best price tho :-) expect to pay about £80-£100 for mild steel back box, pay a bit more for a Stainless Steel Fittment should be good as well.
If you don't have access to a ramp or a very high crub might just as well get a local exhaust place to fit it cash in hand will probally have it fitted for a £10 so you don't even have to get your hands dirty :-)

thanks mate
here's a few pics of mine. Just a simple Sportex 4inch inward roll. The fit isn't very good on it as it sits to the right of the cut-out but you can get different rubber hangers that move it to the right place.
Nice things can be achieved with the 1.1s and the flat arches can look well nice if done right

alright mate, me and my friend have 1.1's, an to be honest the nicest sounding exhaust we have had believe it or not is the jap can from halfords the carbon fibre one with flame tip, it sounded sweet as. i have had a full powerflow cat back dual exit system and it was wank, not very loud and didnt sound great. friend had a centre exit powerflow cat back which sounds meaty but not really that loud, and now i have a custom made one from predator motorsport with no box just a straight through pipe which is really loud but a bit chavvy.
the full cat back systems made a bit of a difference to the way my 1.1 drove it felt alot more responsive but its up to you if you want a full pipe or just a box
hope this helps mate
got a couple of pics if you want them just give me a pm
