So So often im reading on here about people getting 2k nearly insurance quotes etc for a vtr, i really dont understand this?

I had only 6months driving experience and my insurance was 1400 fully comp on a vtr,

And some of these people i see with 1 yr an 2 yrs no years etc and are gettin third party quotes of near to 1600 etc, its crazy

i understand about the areas and points etc im no an idiot, contory to popular belife lol, but still some quotes i see r just crazy

your job changes it a fair bit too, where its parked during night and day, miles per year, lots of factors change it

they are crazy quotes. the numbers that pop up, people dont batter an eyelid.

But if you stand back and think about it... two f**king grand to insure a death trap for a year.

not worth it ever. but you are 21... which will help massively.

obviously the rest i realised affected it area etc all that palava but still like ad said 2k to insure a death trap for a year it isnt worth it.

I begrudgingly paid 1400, fully comp but i wasnt gonna get much cheaper on any car when i scouted round, so i jus paid it and got the car i wanted.

But still some quotes people post back are just crazy.

When i was working I did a quote as an Aerospace engineer and then one as a student.

Student was cheaper.
