Smile Headunit always on!!!

I just fitted my new headunit and it always has a positive feed. It is a Ventura CD/DVD player.

I dont want a flat and dont really want a disco in my car when i aint there.


Any ideas???

does it lose its settings ... all i can think of is that the 12v ignition (red) wire and the perm supply (yellow) is the wrong way round

yeah sounds like this to me, mine did this until i swapped them round

Cheers guys its fixed now, i justs stripped the red n yellow lead and switch it.

so do you just cut these two wires and swop them over then on the main block of wires?

depends on how it wired up but yes basically just swap the wires over

yeah i just cut the wires in to two bits and twisted em together with sum insulation tape around it. Works brilliant no and currently got Jackass in my DVD player lol
