Snapped Coil
My mate has just had to have his springs replaced as one of his gmc 50mm springs snapped goin thru a small pothole!
Surely gmc springs arent that bad are they? or is it due to wear and tear do you reckon, he's had them about on about 2 years or so?

What car was it on?
Surely the springs should be just as good as any car manufacturers one, so I'm not saying it's due to poor quality but I'm not sure.

Did he just have the springs on?? Could be something to do with him not having a full suspension kit??

I have heard of loads of people with just springs and they have been fine.
What sort of warranty do you get with them?

My C3 had a front spring failure. just sheared. Citroen replaced it for free even though it was out of warranty.

Ive known TONS of people who have had GMC springs break, theyre the most common springs Ive seen to break, some old, some new.
Im sure GMC would just say its a non-guaranteeable part, for all they know youve been doing rally stages all day every day LOL
