Saxo VTS
General question really. What kinda miles do you reckon a Saxo VTS will run to if looked after and serviced regularly?

The TU engines are well built unlike the the things that the engine bolts to... there are a few on the site on 100k+ miles. so i see no reason why they wouldnt go further.

There was one on Ebay that had 160k on the clock and was still running fine.
If it's been well serviced, driven well etc they will last for a good while.

Aslong as a car is serviced regularly with decent oil etc the rest of the car will give up before the engine even thinks about it..
My 1.4 is on 104k and i drive that hard everyday up the dual carriageways to work, right out to the redline, service it regularly and it hasn't missed a beat! TU's rule tbh..

True though, if your engine goes bang at 125k then it hasn't been treated properly imo.. Not being cocky chap!
