girls and confidence trouble!
stupid thing to talk about i know but its realy doing my head in now! basically i have not been out with a girl for over a year now and i just feel like i have no confidence what so ever! a few years ago i was so different i was dating girls doing stuff all the time like but now things just have gone down hill! i see my best mates all with their girlfriends all the time and it sometimes gets to me like! theres loads of girls at college i like but just havnt got the balls to go over and say something! dont mean to sound cocky like but im not exactly ugly and im an outgoing sort of person that well known if you get me! anyway what should i do? sorry for the essay!

join my club, except mines is with guys not girls, you just need to try and build up some confidence, easier said than done, i know, go out with your mates, have a laugh, let them help, worked for me once. Im rubbish at advice on this subject really, cause i need it myself, but i know how you feel

Big head  , dunno mate I always find having a drink helps me with my confidence but that's cheating, I'm kinda thinking the thought of rejection is embaressing so like if you feel that way getting over that would help. But i'm fairly cr*p with confidence myself so I can't talk.
I think as you get older, the confidence you had when you were 15 and had a different gf every week leaves you lol!

Join a few clubs and societies in school and outside of it... join the netball squad or something. that way you are, forced if you like, to chat to each other. also it helps spread your friendship base so you end up meeting more people through them and hopefully a corker of a lass.

Im a person who is great with people i dont like (as in want), everything seems normal and i can make em piss emselves and say right things etc...
Then when you like someone it all changes, i lose my confidence and do everything wrong

I just let the lasses do the talking to be honest. you invariably find they are chatter boxes and wont shut up. its not so much about confidence but finding a topic you both can talk about... tv programmes, music, sports, or bitching about people you both dont like

im not alone here then lol that helps! yeah i mean for example at college there are girls that i look at and they look back and you get the impression they like you and then you find out from your mate they are taken, that realy pisses me off! ive just lost my confidence altogether and thats it tbh, i just need to meet a girl i realy like that shares the same interests and have a decent long term relationship! that will do me the world of good! also another example is that i was supposed to be going ibiza with a mate of mine but now hes going away with his bird!

Tbh i find it fairly easy to talk to girls, you just need to find a common ground, if you can make them laugh your halfway there mate, i ain exactly a looker so i have to rely on my personality and a bit of charm. But im told im funny so that really does help alot.

ok imagine if a lass (doesnt have to be fit) just came up to you and started smiling and chatting and that... how would you feel? Personally I'd be pretty flattered by it and make the effort to talk back regardless of whether or not i thought she was fit.
So maybe a girl will think the same thing... 
The other thing is, if you're looking for love then you're less likely to get it. Aim for friendship first even the ones you dont find instantly attractive... you may find it easier to chat and never know what might come about from it.

either way, have a few beers, coz if u dont get anywhere at least the nite aint a total loss lol.
thats how i always picked up women, on a nite out, end up kissen em, exchange numbers and then things went from there!
best way if u ask me lol, least that way u dont have to struggle talkin to some girl in the middle of school.. and shes like why are u hitting on me in school for? lol.
get blocked and talk crap, cant go wrong lol
