Msn Virus
Just a little warning in advance, theres a virus going around msn, im a fool a clicked it because it says something like '' oh is this you in this picture?'' and a link.
It closes msn installs some program and then sends this message you clicked on to every contact, just does it and opens all these windows, is quite annoying.
Just a little warning as its been doing my head in for about half an hour!
Anyone know how to get rid of this or is it a delete msn jobbie and reinstall a new one?

No offence or anything but you can blaitently tell when things are viruses, When do your mates say "Hey " and talk without any spelling mistakes.
Its crazy the amount of people who fall for these things aswell.

The companies that bring out protection software like Norton ect blatantly pay nerds to make viruses, then they bring out the fix. Keeps them in business.

Got this about a month ago. Did exactly same thing and cause i have so many contatcs it locked up my machine. I rebooted and got the message 'Error - Operating System Missing'. Had to reinstall all from scratch and lost 180gb of data. Apparantly the link takes you to a website, which downloads a virus script code and runs it on your computer. From what i have heard some people have been luckier than me and it hasnt done anything.
Are you running IE7 by the way cause i was (Stupidly) and thats why. Change to firefox and update your virus scanner.

lol why is everyone like "New msn virus!" this is an old virus.. spams your contacts with the virus and then infects them.. most of the times its a spammer for a Botnet so they can use your PC to Attack other website.. as most of the botnets i have seen have msn speak functions.. so all they do is go
".msnspeak "Hi you guys seen this http://www.virus.com/virus.exe" and it will say it from you to all your contacts.. just dont click it.. you cant stop it, as its not you who is infected..
