Default First insurance help..

Just been getting a few quotes for my Saxo X 1.1i, cheapest so far being with Quinn at £1258! Is that ok? If not, what price should I be looking at around? Any of you recommend any decent cheap companies? Bear in mind I'm 17 and havn't passed my test yet!

Depends on a lot of factors.

Assuming you are 17, Zero No Claims and on your own insurance then to be honest that is a decent enough price. I know its only a 1.1 but at 17 its hard enough to get insurance on your own as it is.

If that quote is through your mum or dad etc and is TPFT then you will be able to do better. If you can afford £1258 quid on your own then go for it becuase you will earn your own no claims and will pay out in the end.

Even if thats third party id go with it for a year mate.

As said above, assuming your 17/Male/No NCB thats good.

Just bite the bullet first time a get a years no claims under your belt.

Its often too expensive to that for alot of people.
