In my local newspaper today - ive had to type it out cause i cant find it online

WOMAN LIED TO POLICE AFTER CAR SMASH
a wearside motorist who pretended her car had been stolen when it was involved in a crash in the early hours has been spared jail
Eve Olivers Citroen saxo was found abandoned and severly damaged on Durham road ..................

AND
CRASH DRIVER LOOSES HER LICENCE
A women with a clean driving licence has lost it for drink driving. Laura Whelan was breathalised by police after a crash involving her Citroen saxo in seaham ..............

(take note of this one ^^^ when driving the day after you have been drinking as she was breathalised 15 hours after she'd had a drink and failed the breathaliser she was banned for a year got a fine of 50quid and 68 costs

n i know someone nicked for being over the limit the morning after, most people dont realise.

yea if you stack a sax then its pretty much game over for the car if your going even moderately fast, ie mine was at 22mph.... speedo got stuck!!!! but car was compleate write off. i was lucky though i suppose, cos i was fine but unfortunately some people dont get as much luck.



it was a bloody sweet vts too, a car hit the side and i went off the road into a lamp post and the b@!^*%d drove off!! bmw drivers ey!!

saxos really arent that good with accidents, mine just has to look at someone elses' crash and it crumples! lol

there was also another incident involving a saxo. someone died in a saxo on the A64 many months ago. i think someone on here knew the person..

My best friend was killed when he drove A clio and lost control and smashed a wall..... 250yards away from where we live (he lives down the road).
Happened at 9.15 - didnt get told till nearly 11!
